When not fishing for salmon or albacore, the Bonnie Marietta is available for research and support charters on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, for the entire west coast. An owner-operated vessel can be a cost effective way to handle many ocean research needs. Captain Mark would be pleased to discuss the possibility of his participation in any of your projects.

Captain Mark has over 3 decades of experience in commercial and passenger fishing, and ocean research. He holds a United States Coast Guard Masters license, is Hazwoper trained, and holds certification in sea survival training. He has performed a wide variety of charter work with the Bonnie Marietta, including but not limited to, diver support, side scan, multi beam, sub-bottom profiling, core sampling, water sampling, oil recovery, marine mammal observation, and ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) support. (Click HERE for additional information about Captain Mark’s experience.)

The Bonnie Marietta is a 38-foot fully equipped fishing and research support vessel, constructed with superior materials and workmanship. She is powered by a Cummins 210 horsepower main engine, a 10.5 KW Kubota generator, and includes a full compliment of electronics.  She can be outfitted or altered to meet specific job requirements.
